System One is seeking an EDI Software Developer for a full-time, permanent opportunity in Kansas City, MO. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining EDI-Data Integration applications and systems to ensure efficient and accurate data exchange with business partners.
- Design, implement, and manage EDI/Integration transactions and systems to ensure accurate data exchanges.
- Collaborate with product managers and business analysts to understand requirements and provide EDI/Integration solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot EDI/Integration systems, perform regular maintenance, and ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in mapping and converting data between various formats and standards.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with EDI/Data Integration standards and protocols.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to EDI standards, systems, and procedures.
- Provide rotational 24x7 on-call support as part of a dedicated team.
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in web development using JavaScript, ReactJS and related frameworks.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with EDI/Data Integration systems, particularly with Cleo Integration Cloud.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with EDI standards such as X12, EDIFACT, and protocols like AS2, FTP, SFTP.
- Experience with Cleo Clarify/VL Trader, IBM’s Gentran/B2B Integrator.
- Experience with database management systems (SQL, NoSQL).
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile).
- Experience with cloud development and web services (SOAP/API).
