Overview
A growing laboratory organization is seeking an entry-level Laboratory Technician to support sample preparation and laboratory operations in a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity for recent science graduates looking to gain hands-on laboratory experience and build a long-term career within a collaborative team setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist with sample preparation activities including aliquoting and media preparation
- Maintain accurate documentation and data tracking for all laboratory samples
- Monitor laboratory inventory and communicate supply needs as necessary
- Support senior laboratory technicians with preparation for incoming samples and daily lab operations
- Follow laboratory SOPs and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely sample processing
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field required
- Entry-level opportunity; no prior industry experience required
- Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills
- Academic or industry laboratory instrumentation experience preferred, particularly related to sample preparation
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and data entry
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer
