Responsibilities
- Responsible for manufacturing of beadlets, powder blends and liquid suspensions.
- Manufacturing as per batch records.
- Expertise in beadlet operations, milling and blending.
- Capable of operation all equipment in production.
- Work collaboratively with other operators under his section to ensure seamless production flow.
- Ensure GMP and FSSC 22000 standards compliance for all batch operations.
- Operate PK and Ribbon blenders designed for continuous mixing and blending of powders or incorporation of liquid additives.
- Operate Fitz, Alpine, and Jet Mills for grinding crystalline or friable materials to specified size ranges.
- Operate Sweco, Allgaier, and Kason Sifters for separating and screening oversize and fine particles.
- Use Tray Oven and Beadlet Dryer for processing.
- Operate Lee Kettle and other mixing vessels for emulsifying, suspending, and homogenizing liquid products.
- High School Diploma and/or Trade School Diploma. AA or BS Degree preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in an FDA / cGMP manufacturing environment.
- Strong computer skills and good organizational skills.
- Deep understanding of cGMP and FDA regulations.
- Knowledge of operating PK and Ribbon blenders, Fitz, Alpine, Jet Mills, Sifters, Tray Ovens, Beadlet Dryers, Lee Kettle, and other mixing vessels.
