System One is actively seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist for a contract position supporting large capital and onsite services projects within a highly regulated environment. This role will function as part of an established sourcing team, supporting end-to-end strategic sourcing activities across complex project scopes. This individual will work closely with internal stakeholders, supplier partners, and cross-functional teams to manage sourcing requests, contract development, negotiations, and supplier performance.
Responsibilities:
• Review and validate sourcing requests from internal stakeholders
• Manage end-to-end strategic sourcing activities including RFPs and bid events
• Develop and negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms
• Conduct vendor risk assessments and ensure compliance requirements are met
• Execute purchase orders and assist with invoice issue resolution
• Manage supplier performance and support recovery plans when needed
• Maintain contract records and documentation in compliance with retention requirements
• Support post-award contract management and supplier relationships
• Partner with internal teams to ensure alignment on sourcing strategies and deliverables
Requirements:
• Experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain
• Strong contract negotiation and supplier management experience
• Experience supporting large projects or complex scopes of work
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word (advanced formatting), Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to manage workload independently and prioritize multiple requests
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field
Preferred Skills:
• SAP experience (strongly preferred)
• Experience with e-sourcing or contract management tools (e.g., Coupa)
• Experience supporting regulated industries or capital projects
• CPSM or equivalent certification
• Familiarity with nuclear or highly regulated environments
