ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (TRAINEE)
SUMMARY:
Seeking an Engineering Technician (Trainee) to support its engineering and characterization operations. This hands-on trainee role is ideal for recent graduates with a Bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific field who are eager to grow into a technician or junior engineering position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support lab standardization, equipment qualification, and documentation
- Monitor tool performance and schedule preventive maintenance
- Operate systems such as System 28/G4 and maintain related logs
- Make and manage chemical solutions used for etching or polaron
- Track chemical inventory and assist with ordering
- Collaborate with engineers on process improvements and lab protocol changes
- Communicate professionally with outside vendors and internal stakeholders
- Record gas consumption and generate operational documents (SOPs, updates)
- Bachelor’s degree required (Electrical Engineering, Materials Science)
- No prior experience needed, but mechanical aptitude is essential
- Mandarin fluency is strongly preferred
