About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Construction Field Administrator to support the administrative, payroll, billing, and project coordination needs of an active construction operation in the Phoenix West Valley.
The ideal candidate will have construction industry experience and a strong background in payroll, cost billing, job costing, and timekeeping. Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are required to effectively communicate with field employees, project managers, and office staff.
Responsibilities
- Process and review weekly field payroll and employee timecards
- Track labor hours, overtime, and job-cost allocations
- Assist with construction cost billing, invoicing, and job costing
- Review billing and payroll documentation for accuracy
- Enter and maintain project costs and expenses
- Coordinate paperwork between field personnel, project management, and accounting
- Maintain accurate project files and records
- Prepare spreadsheets and reports related to labor, costs, and billing
- Track purchase orders, invoices, and subcontractor documentation
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed
- Communicate with field employees regarding timekeeping, payroll, and administrative questions
- Provide general administrative support to field and project management teams
Qualifications
- 2+ years of construction administrative experience preferred
- Payroll and timekeeping experience REQUIRED
- Construction cost billing, job costing, or project invoicing experience REQUIRED
- Bilingual English/Spanish REQUIRED
- Construction industry knowledge and familiarity with construction terminology
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- Experience with construction accounting or project management software is a plus
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be available to start ASAP
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who understands the day-to-day demands of a construction environment and can confidently handle payroll, labor tracking, cost billing, and project administration. The ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish with field personnel is essential.
