Overview
Leads new product innovation projects.. This highly visible position located at our Global Headquarters in Ewing; NJ will assist and independently lead Global New Product Innovation initiatives to help achieve annual growth targets.
Responsibilities
- Lead new product innovation projects, including developing strategies, conducting analyses, and validating opportunities to achieve growth targets
- Manage day-to-day operations of DTC Test & Learn initiatives
- Identify, assess, and champion new growth opportunities through consumer validation, R&D validation, operations, and financial analysis
- Leverage industry tools such as Numerator, Nielsen, and IRI data for category analysis and forecasting
- Initiate consumer research to define unmet needs and white space opportunities
- Align innovation opportunities with brand strategy and sales goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in new product initiatives
- Collaborate with the International Marketing team to drive global synergies as appropriate
- BA/BS degree required; MBA preferred
- 5-8 years of experience in Marketing/NPD within CPG, OTC, or Cosmetics sectors
- Experience in innovation, new product development, launches, and brand repositioning
- Background in category analysis, digital marketing & analytics, P&L analysis, and forecasting
- Familiarity with industry tools including Numerator, Nielsen, and IRI data
- Knowledge of consumer marketing research tools and techniques
