Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned customer accounts, managing the full order lifecycle from setup to delivery, including order entry, modifications, reporting, shipping, RMAs, debits, and credits.
  • Serve as the single-point-of-contact for customers and cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and accurate documentation throughout the process.
  • Research and resolve complex inquiries by conducting extensive research, understanding processes, systems, and practices; escalate issues when necessary.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all interactions in CRM and OMS systems.
  • Prepare and distribute standard and customized reports, supporting process improvements and customer support initiatives.
  • Work closely with team members to support departmental goals and participate in process improvement projects.
  • Promote customer-facing tools such as online portals and provide value-added services to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure data integrity across relevant systems by performing routine updates and audits.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required; college or equivalent degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years customer service experience, with preference for supply chain or order management background.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Excel—candidates must demonstrate basic Excel knowledge prior to submission.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Experience with CRM and Order Management Systems preferred.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment—onsite at Nashville, TN Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the flexibility to support overtime as needed.
  • Must have a second monitor as this is a requirement for the role (laptop provided by Cummins).
