Job Title: Lab Technician
Location: Trumbull, CT
Type: Contract
Compensation: $25.00/hr
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: M-F 8am-5pm

Responsibilities

• Test cleansing formulations on paper, evaluating and recording data accurately
• Organize and perform documentation within established procedures, summarizing and reporting results
• Use a computer to enter data, including charts and tables for project communication
• Document production liquid cleansing products, maintaining FDA paper files and lab data
• Unpack, lift, and set up new company products for testing, ensuring proper placement in heated, temperature-controlled chambers
• Label FDA products, verify batch and UPC codes, and file returned products appropriately
• Create Excel and Word documents for projects using forms, ensuring accuracy and detail orientation

Requirements

• Candidate must demonstrate some lab experience
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Ability to understand and follow experimental protocols for preservation of data
• Comfortable and able to work and follow safe laboratory practices/protocols
• Ability to stand while working in the pilot plant throughout most of the day
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
