Construction Project Manager

Location: Minooka, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $52

Position Overview

This position is for Project Manager responsible for overseeing construction-related work. The role involves planning and aligning projects, managing risk, tracking invoices, coordinating and leading meetings, and collaborating with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience
• Prior construction project management experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• Experience using Excel and Smartsheets

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, develop, and implement projects of varying complexity and size
• Partner with business stakeholders to ensure successful project completion
• Lead multiple projects from inception to completion
• Facilitate project planning sessions to determine scope and objectives
• Establish project performance goals with stakeholders
• Design project plans, develop timelines, identify milestones, and track performance
• Identify, track, and resolve project issues
• Monitor and communicate project status to project team
• Plan and monitor project budget
• Conduct research and analysis
• Provide input into project plan and timeline development
• Manage project risk and identify solutions
• Document and share team learnings
• Maintain project notes, databases, and records
• Communicate with Project Sponsor and stakeholders on project status
• Identify and assign resources for project tasks
• Guide and coach team members through project stages
• Provide developmental feedback to team members
