Job Title: Protection & Control Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot protection and control relaying and associated devices
• Perform calibration of various types of protection and control relays and devices
• Assist in creating and maintaining protection and control documentation
• Assist assigned project lead with field assignments
• Install, program, and maintain protection and control relays and devices
• Participate in process hazard analyses
• Maintain knowledge of current industry trends and practices

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from an ABET accredited college
• Briefly elaborate on your educational background – which engineering discipline did you specialize in and area of concentration within your discipline
• Briefly describe any coursework, training, or experience with testing or troubleshooting electrical circuits, PLCs, or other Intelligent Electronic Devices
• Are you willing to work outdoors, and if so, briefly describe any experience where you have worked outdoors?
• Do you live within a commutable distance of Headland, AL?
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 0-3 years experience in Engineering or similar role
• Familiar with Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
• Working knowledge of PLCs and HMIs
• Experience with AC and DC systems
• Successful candidate must live within a reasonable commute to the assigned office location
