Document Control Specialist (Contract Only 4-6 months)

Responsibilities

  • Manage, organize, and maintain all technical documentation to ensure compliance with internal processes and external regulatory requirements.
  • Support quality functions by maintaining accurate document control systems, monitoring specification updates, and initiating change records for revised technical data.
  • Establish and maintain filing systems for internal and external customer technical data.
  • Manage the repository for all technical documents to ensure that current revisions are active.
  • Review organizations for ITAR status listed on the ASL prior to document transmittals.
  • Monitor customer and industry specifications for updates and upload as needed.
  • Enter information into computer systems to update Document Control spreadsheets or databases.
  • Initiate Change records against incoming new revisions of technical data relative to existing contracts and current revisions on hand.
  • Sort, scan, and electronically file records.
Requirements
  • Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, with one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with internal and external customers.
  • Experience with building and editing documents.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on customer service and teamwork.
  • Flexible with changing priorities and tasks.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, engineering, and industry terminology.
  • Knowledge of Internet Navigation.
  • Experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems; knowledge of database software, MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and technical data integration.
  • Legally able to work in the U.S.
  • Adherence to OSHA, NADCAP, ISO9000 / AS9100, ITAR, FAA regulations, and company safety standards.
  • This position is designated as Safety Sensitive under Oklahoma law, including the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act. Individuals are subject to drug testing, and use of medical marijuana—even with a valid license—is not permitted.
