Hours: Mon-Fri, from 8am to 4:30pm with OT as needed
Shipping & Receiving Clerk Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and condition.
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company and carrier requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of all incoming and outgoing materials.
- Load and unload delivery trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Label, tag, and store received materials in designated locations.
- Coordinate with carriers and freight companies to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Check shipping documents such as bills of lading, invoices, and packing slips.
- Track shipments and resolve any discrepancies or delays with vendors or transporters.
- Keep the shipping and receiving area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Collaborate with purchasing, production, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth material flow.
- Complete cycle counts Using SAP and Microsoft 350 to
- HS Diploma or equivalent required
- Forklift experience
- Experience with inventory counts and receiving raw materials
- Strong computer skills
- SAP experience is a huge plus
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and shipping software (e.g., FedEx, UPS, ERP systems).
- Proven experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
