SUMMARY:
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate with business partners to understand the projects and transactions being recorded
- Analyze transactions and balances to ensure that they are appropriately recorded in the general ledger
- Prepare and review routine recurring and non recurring journal entries
- Prepare monthly general ledger reconciliations
- Assist in the monthly, quarterly and annual accounting close process
- Assist in the preparation of key internal reporting
- Prepare required documentation for financial audits and reviews
- Assist in maintenance of Sarbanes Oxley compliance
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- 1-3 year’s experience in corporate accounting or equivalent public accounting experience
