Shift: 2-3-2 rotating schedule (2 days on days, 3 days on nights, then back to 2 days on days.)
Compensation: $27.00/hr
Type: 12-month contract, Potential for extension or conversion to permanent
Responsibilities
- Perform routine quality control testing using established methods.
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment.
- Approve or reject materials based on quality specifications.
- Enter test results and data into plant systems.
- Assist with troubleshooting quality issues involving materials and finished products.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment in accordance with 5S and safety standards.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Science-related education or background required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with effective time management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and on a rotating shift schedule.
- Preferred
- Laboratory, manufacturing, chemical, or quality control experience.
- Experience using laboratory instrumentation and performing equipment calibrations.
