Specialty Chemical Company is seeking a Research Associate in Wilmington, DE!
Responsibilities
- Lead application-focused research to support R&D projects in paints and coatings, construction materials, water, and energy industries
- Develop novel formulations using new and existing active ingredients and next-generation delivery technologies
- Perform analytical characterization (e.g., HPLC) to evaluate formulation performance
- Collaborate with scientists and cross-functional teams (regulatory, marketing, product development) from concept through commercialization
- Manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining laboratory safety and compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Chemical Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of industrial laboratory experience in research, product development, or technical application settings
- Experience with analytical chemistry techniques, particularly HPLC
