Overview:
System One is seeking a Talent Acquisition Recruiter I to support hiring efforts in Pasadena, TX. This role is responsible for delivering a high level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders while identifying, selecting, and hiring qualified candidates to meet project-specific needs and ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws.
Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and conduct preliminary interviews with potential candidates
- Coordinate site interviews with hiring managers and assist in candidate selection
- Extend contingent employment offers in accordance with federal/state regulations
- Manage assigned requisitions including review, editing, and approval processes
- Track and report staffing activity using tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internal systems
- Develop and update job descriptions based on project scope and requirements
- Support redeployment initiatives through proactive communication with employees nearing assignment completion
- Manage onboarding processes including background checks, drug screens, health screenings, I-9 and E-Verify compliance, and employment documentation
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to quickly learn applicant tracking systems
- Exposure to recruiting for craft labor or industrial roles.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- High level of customer service orientation
- Knowledge of employment laws and compliance practices
- Strong attention to detail
- High school diploma (or equivalent) with 4+ years of recruiting, sourcing, or administrative experience
