About the Role
Katy Engineering company looking for a Front Desk Receptionist to cover for a medical leave. This role serves as the first point of contact for all visitors, employees, and callers at our Katy office. This position requires a polished, professional presence and someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a high volume of incoming phone calls with professionalism and accuracy
- Greet and assist guests, clients, and vendors upon arrival
- Issue visitor badges and maintain proper security and check?in procedures
- Provide general front desk support, including reception duties and administrative tasks
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area
- Uphold a consistently professional attitude, appearance, and demeanor
Requirements
- Must be available to work onsite from 8 AM–5 PM with no schedule flexibility
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable handling heavy phone traffic
- Professional attire and presentation required
- Prior reception or administrative experience preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and able to represent the company with a positive attitude
