CNC Fabricator – Sheet & Light Plate (Press Brake & Plasma)

System One LLC is seeking an experienced CNC Fabricator to set up and operate CNC press brake and plasma cutting equipment for sheet and light plate fabrication. This role focuses on carbon steel and stainless steel materials ranging from 16 gauge to 3/16" and requires precision, quality workmanship, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC press brake with CNC backgauge

• Set up and operate CNC plasma cutting table

• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols

• Select tooling, determine bend sequences, and apply bend allowances

• Adjust programs as needed to meet print requirements

• Perform first-article and in-process inspections

• Maintain quality, accuracy, and safe work practices

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC fabrication experience

• Hands-on experience with CNC press brakes and CNC plasma tables

• Experience working with carbon steel and stainless steel

• Familiarity with 16 ga–3/16" material

• Strong blueprint reading skills

• Ability to work independently

Preferred

• CNC program editing or offline programming experience

• Job-shop or low-to-medium volume production background
