Responsibilities
- Manage driver check-in/out, shipment documentation, and truck flow to ensure safe and efficient operations at the facility.
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments, scheduling, and carrier compliance using WMS and CarrierPoint systems.
- Communicate with transportation planners regarding no-shows, rescheduling, and load details.
- Ensure all truck appointments are confirmed, loads are properly documented, and paperwork is completed accurately.
- Manage the driver experience by greeting drivers cordially, monitoring wait times, maintaining the driver breakroom, and promoting positive interactions.
- Answer phone inquiries, assist with scheduling, and support warehouse flow and control activities.
- Respond to special projects, process order changes, and support shipping initiatives as needed.
- Maintain technical proficiency with Google Suite, ERP systems, WMS RF, and transportation management systems.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, manufacturing, or distribution environments preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge of Google Suite, ERP systems (PS or SAP), Inventory Management, and Transport Management Systems (Carrier Point, Oracle).
- Advanced knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS – RF).
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to walk through warehouse and outside yard as needed for job duties.
