Objective
Drive revenue growth by developing and managing a portfolio of cross-border logistics accounts. Identify market opportunities and deliver consultative supply chain solutions that address complex shipping requirements across international corridors.
Responsibilities
- Develop new business relationships and expand service adoption within current client base
- Partner with marketing to identify and pursue qualified prospects in assigned territory
- Gather and analyze supply chain data to inform strategic recommendations
- Document client interactions, pipeline activity, and sales progression in CRM system
- Create account penetration strategies using market research and competitive intelligence
- Present logistics solutions that address operational challenges and cost optimization goals
- Negotiate pricing structures to achieve margin targets while maintaining client satisfaction
- Coordinate cross-functionally with operations, pricing, claims, and finance teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Identify cost reduction opportunities through process improvements and service optimization
- Support organizational objectives related to safety, quality, and financial performance
Requirements
- 3-5 years in B2B sales role
- Direct experience in cross-border freight, forwarding, or global logistics operations
- Professional proficiency in English for business communication
- Competency with Microsoft Office suite
- Willingness to travel regularly via various modes of transportation
- Availability for occasional evening and weekend business activities
Preferences
- Proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles
- Experience with CRM platforms for pipeline management
- Track record of quota attainment in transportation/logistics sector
- Familiarity with supply chain analytics and consultative selling methodology
