Responsibilities
- Operate and program CNC Press Brake machines, primarily Amada, setting up machinery, and performing test runs on materials.
- Use CAD programs, basic hand tools, measurement instruments, and fine measuring tools to ensure accurate production.
- Inspect production parts for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to maintain optimal operation.
- Communicate with production leads to meet deadlines and follow production schedules.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety, operational, and regulatory standards in collaboration with Quality and Environmental Departments.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-high school education or training preferred.
- At least one (1) year of manufacturing experience pressing, bending, or stamping metal.
- Familiar with Press Brake programming and setup.
- Ability to read and interpret 2D prints, 3D models, and work instructions.
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication is required.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
