Senior Accountant
Location: Tulsa, OK-OnsiteType: Direct Hire
Compensation: $70-90K/year
System One is working with a well-established manufacturing organization to identify an experienced Senior Accountant to join their accounting team. This role supports the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department with a strong focus on cash management, while also providing senior-level support to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Monthly financial statement preparation is a critical component of this position. The ideal candidate will also enjoy mentoring junior staff and collaborating cross-functionally.

- Assist the Accounts Payable team as needed, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
- Manage Accounts Receivable email inboxes and perform reconciliations
- Oversee cash management activities, including daily cash reconciliations and cash status projections
- Process wire transfers and manage positive pay transactions
- Prepare journal entries, perform financial analysis, and complete account reconciliations
- Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts
- Review and audit general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy
- Assist with month-end close activities
- Prepare monthly financial statements for an affiliated entity
- Partner with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and information flow
- Follow all safety protocols within the finance department and daily operations
- Support the Controller with additional accounting and departmental tasks as needed
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience
- Hands-on Accounts Payable experience required
