Title: Senior Analyst, Supply Planning
Salary: $75k-$83k (Direct Hire)
Location: Jersey City
Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30a to 3:30p
Reason for Hire: Addition to Staff

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Business

Requirements:
4+ years of experience in supply planning, production planning, or supply chain management.
Advanced Excel and data analysis skills required.
Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems SAGE preferred (other Oracle, SAP, Net Suite).
Experience in CPG (consumer packaged goods) environment is required.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:
Supply & Production Planning

Develop and maintain short- and long-term supply plans aligned with demand forecasts and business objectives.
Translate demand into production, inventory, and procurement requirements.
Ensure appropriate inventory levels to support service targets while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
Balance plant capacity, labor availability, and material constraints in planning decisions.

Inventory Management

Monitor inventory performance, safety stock levels, and replenishment strategies.
Lead initiatives to reduce slow-moving and obsolete inventory.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Sales, Procurement, and Operations teams to support Sales & Operations Planning (SOP) processes.
Coordinate with manufacturing leadership to resolve supply constraints and production risks.
Communicate supply risks, shortages, or delays proactively to stakeholders.

Process Improvement & Analytics

Drive continuous improvement in planning systems, tools, and workflows.
Analyze supply chain performance metrics including service levels, forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and capacity utilization.
Implement best practices to improve planning accuracy and operational efficiency.

Systems & Reporting

Maintain planning data within ERP/MRP systems (Sage).
Develop and maintain reporting to support executive visibility into supply performance.
Support system enhancements and planning automation initiatives
