System One is seeking an experienced SAP Master Data Analyst to support our client during a transition from SAP ECC to S/4HANA, with a strong focus on master data readiness.
This role sits within Technology Services and plays a critical part in preparing data for final design, testing, and HyperCare phases.
The ideal candidate excels at working with large, complex data sets, understands data frameworks and hierarchies, and brings a strong foundation in master data strategy within ERP environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large capital project data sets, including Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
- Review and validate historical and forecasted data (2024–2026)
- Map data hierarchies, field attributes, and master data into defined frameworks
- Work extensively with Excel and SharePoint to manage, analyze, and upload data
- Support mock data design, validation, and testing activities
- Contribute to data readiness efforts across key project phases
- Reports to Hiring Leader, Rena Talbott
- Partners closely with SAP Change and Project Readiness teams
- Collaborates with Nathan Konkler and a Data Analyst peer
- Internal-facing role with no customer interaction
- Individual contributor role (no direct reports)
- 5–7 years of experience in data governance, systems analysis, or master data management
- Proven experience working with large, complex data sets
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, multi-dimensional analysis)
- Strong understanding of WBS and master data structures
- Experience with SAP ECC preferred; other ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) acceptable
- Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA or large-scale ERP implementations
- Familiarity with SAP Master Data Online (MDO) tool
- Background in utilities or large, matrixed organizations
- Ability to interpret and create process maps
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage priorities independently
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Comfortable working with minimal supervision
- High-quality, accurate data prepared for migration and testing
- Strong alignment with master data frameworks and governance standards
