Job Title: Entry Level Accounts Payable Clerk
Location: Lakewood, NJ

Type: Contract to Hire
Compensation: $18 - $22 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: Monday-Friday | 9 am till 5 pm

Entry Level Accounts Payable Clerk Job Duties:

Enter and process vendor invoices in the accounting system
Verify invoice details, including quantities, prices, and payment terms
Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents
Prepare and process electronic transfers and check payments
Maintain organized records of invoices and payment documentation
Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries
Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedure

Entry Level Accounts Payable Job Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years experience
High school diploma or associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
Basic understanding of accounting principles (training provided)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good organizational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
