Job Title: CAD Draftsman

Compensation: $34.00 - $38.00 per hour

Hours: M-F, 8am to 5pm

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality, accurate technical drawings and plans translating design concepts into project schematics
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders to gather design specifications, calculations, and structural requirements
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project managers and design teams, ensuring all changes are accurately documented
• Ensure all designs and drawings comply with industry standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation and filing systems for all project drawings and records
• Assist in preparing project materials lists and cost estimates
• Conduct occasional site visits to verify measurements and gather data for designs as needed
• Maintain high standards of quality and professionalism regarding workmanship, customer relations, coworkers, behavior, and appearance

• Associate's degree or certificate in a relevant field and proven experience as a draftsman
• Proficiency in CAD software like AutoCAD or Revit; knowledge of BIM software is a plus
• 5 or more years of experience in electrical drafting and design
• Skilled understanding of architectural and engineering principles
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and follow-up skills
• Mathematical and analytical abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and familiarity with industry regulations and building codes
• Effective time management skills
