Property Management Accountant

System One is assisting a company in the Tulsa Metro area with a search for a Property Management Accountant. This position will work with a team of people who excel in their areas of responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain and reconcile general ledgers for assigned properties
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and year end adjustments
• Review accounts payable
• Review accounts receivable, tenant ledgers, and rent roll reconciliation
• Process tenant billings, move-outs, and reconcile adjustments
• Monitor cash balances daily and prepare bank reconciliations for multiple property accounts monthly
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of revenue, expenses, and accruals
• Coordinate with property managers to resolve discrepancies and provide financial insights
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards, lease agreements, and company policies

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in real estate or property management accounting preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Proficiency with property management software
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
