Administrative Clerk

Compensation: $21.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking adetail-oriented and organized Temporary Administrative Clerk to support a new program within the Program Operations team in White Plains, NY. The ideal candidate is reliable, tech-savvy, coachable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clerical and scheduling support for Housing Choice Voucher Program Operations

  • Process contracts, verifications, reports, and logs

  • Prepare and maintain files and records (filing, scanning, indexing)

  • Manage recertification, intake scheduling, and tracking activities

  • Serve as a liaison for scheduled and missed appointments

  • Provide general program information and respond to customer inquiries

  • Support front desk reception as needed

  • Assist with additional administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of administrative or office experience (housing program experience a plus)

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Comfortable working with diverse populations

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle confidential information

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 3 years of relevant experience

    Bilingual candidates are a strong plus.
